The firm was founded in 1983 in Marion, NC by Stephen R. "Steve" Little and has a distinguished record of providing superior quality legal services to persons and businesses in McDowell County and throughout western North Carolina.

We are committed to the pursuit of excellence in the representation of clients, while maintaining the highest level of ethical standards. Our significant commitment to and involvement in the Marion community is obvious:

Steve Little is the mayor pro-tem of Marion, serving now in his 19th year as a publicly-elected member of the Marion City Council, and is very active in Marion's First Baptist Church.

We are very proud of our legal assistants and support staff at our law office. Our Receptionist-Secretary is Betty Childers, who has been in this position for over 10 years. Our real estate legal assistant is Ronnie Cline, a position she has held for over seven years. Rita Wooten is the legal assistant to Steve Little. The after-school office aide for the 2004-2005 school year is Mary Katherine Davis.
